Welcome to Eastcote

Following continued lobbying from the ERA, the council has now erected 4 brand new Eastcote signs.

It's long been argued that Eastcote deserved an identity of its own, with the Post Office having split Eastcote between Ruislip & Pinner based on the household's postcode. Not least because Eastcote is steeped in a rich history and even has its own tube station serving both the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines. Well after continued pressure from committed members at the Eastcote Residents Association, Eastcote has now been rewarded with 4-brand new signs, rightfully depicting the boundaries of Eastcote.

The new road signs Welcome to Eastcote are now in place on:-

Field End Road
Eastcote Road
Joel Street
Bridle Road

While there is still a lot of work required to convince the post office to recognise Eastcote as a postal area, residents should now feel even more proud to be able call Eastcote their home.

A positive sign? We think so!
