Eastcote Library Starts A New Chapter

Eastcote Library has re-opened following its closure at the end of last year for major refurbishment.

The library, which had become tired & dated, re opened its doors on Monday (11th July) - 3 months after refurbishment was due to be completed.

Hillingdon Council have continued its pledge to renovate a number of its libraries, with Northwood Hills recently re-opening following refurbishment, while Hayes End Library is currently closed to the public for its own make-over.

The new look Eastcote Library is open 6 days a week (see below) and offers Hillingdon Residents a large selection of fiction and non-fiction books, talking books & DVDs. The library also boasts 3 computers which can be booked for free for visitors to browse the internet, email or even make use of word processing facilities. There's also a new-look children's library and study area for students, or on Tuesday afternoons, younger visitors can enjoy regular weekly story telling sessions.
